Summer Scrub Club is Back Again!
This camp is designed to introduce local youth to a wide variety of careers available in health care. Campers have the opportunity to participate in unique hands-on activities and demonstrations. Campers will experience first-hand several careers in the health care field.Some activities will include: First Aid Certification; casting; suturing; lab analysis; mock accident; hospital.
Some of the careers to be explored are: Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine; Nursing; Computer Programming and Repair; Horticulture; Hospital Administration; Business Accounting and Marketing; EMT; Pharmacy; Radiology.
Registration are limited! Campers will be accepted for this one-of-a-kind experience on a first-come basis based on responses to the questions on the registraton form. This camp is open to all youth who are preparing to enter 8th, 9th or 10th grade in Fall 2008. Application deadlione is Friday, May 30, 2008.
The cost is $50.00 per student for the entire week. Limited scholarships are also available for those campers who are unable to pay this fee. Campers should request a Scholarship Application when they are notifieid of acceptance into Summer Scrub Club 2008. Do not send payment with your registration.
