Q: How do I find public transportation in Franklin County?

Western Maine Transportation Services provides scheduled public transportation throughout Franklin County. Look for the Green Bus. For a current schedule, visit Western Maine Transportation Services under the Transportation Category of The Community Connector.

In addition to scheduled stops by a public bus, the third on the Wednesday of each month, the Maine Mall run leaves the Farmington area at 8:00 a.m. and arrives in South Portland at 10:00 a.m. The return trip leaves the Maine Mall area at 2:00 p.m. and arrives back in Farmington at 4:00 p.m. Please call to make reservations. There are also pick-ups in Wilton, Jay and Livermore Falls.

The Green Bus is handicapped accessible and is open to the public. A 48-hour advance notice is required.
