| Services: | WMCA Health Services provides family planning and reproductive health services for women and men, teens and adults. Our Nurse Practitioners and Reproductive Health Specialists are the experts in helping clients achieve their family planning and health care goals. Anyone is welcome to visit WMCA's Family Planning or STD Clinics. Discounts are available for income eligible households and most major insurances, including MaineCare, are accepted. Our services include: * Routine physicals including breast & pelvic exams and pap smears * Birth control counseling & supplies * Emergency contraception * Treatment of common gynecological problems * Pregnancy testing & options counseling * Pre-pregnancy counseling * Prenatal counseling, education, & referral services * Colposcopy & cryotherapy for evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears * Midlife/Menopause consultation and treatment * FREE pap smears & breast exams (if income eligible) through the Maine Breast and Cervical Health Program. * Testing, diagnosis and treatment of STIs (sexually transmitted infections) |
| Fees: | Fees are reasonable, payment arrangements are liberal, and a fee discount program is available for income eligible clients. No one makes too much or too little money to come to use these services. |
