Services:  The Mission of the Maine Rural Health Association is to listen to the health and health care concerns of rural citizens, and to suggest ways to break down barriers to access, communications and collaboration by encouraging partnerships for the provision of consumer-focused integrated rural health care.
The Association carries out its mission by: Collaborating with communities, providers, organizations, and consumers to identify unmet health care needs in rural areas and opportunities to improve health status.

Providing education about rural health issues and the impact of policy and regulatory decisions on rural health status and service delivery.
Fostering statewide interaction and networking among a diverse membership to create innovative and cohesive strategies and to improve working relationships for addressing rural health issues.

Promoting local and regional partnerships to create community solutions to community health systems challenges and to stimulate the creation of community-oriented health systems.
Supporting the work of the Maine Office of Rural Health.
Participation in the New England Roundtable of the National Rural Health Association.

Healthy Community Coalition

Founded in 1989, Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is an affiliate of the Franklin Community Health Network with a mission of promoting health and well-being in Franklin County and neighboring towns, including Livermore Falls.
