Services

he volunteers at Franklin Memorial Hospital give employees, patients, and visitors the most special gift of all—their talent and time. The services they provide complement the care given by staff. Our organization takes pride in our volunteers and we consider them part of the staff.

The following items are just a few of the tasks that need volunteer support:

In addition to personal satisfaction and meeting new friends, perks to volunteering include: free flu shots, recognition events, in-service skills training, and breakfast and lunch privileges.

You Can Volunteer, Too!

We invite all interested community members to join our family of volunteers. Whether one has two hours a month or two hours a week, we will do our best to match interests and skills to the opportunities available.

Volunteer Opportunities

Multi and varied: clerical, aides of all sorts, escorts, computer work, patient contact, gardening, mailroom etc. There are over 40 different types of volunteer opportunities at the hospital. Required training: Confidentiality, fire safety & hazardous materials, and other training as needed, all provided by the hospital. Time requirements: 2-6 hours per week.
