Clients:  At least 60 years of age and meets low-income guidelines. This program is for residents in the Livermore, Livermore Falls area at the present time. The Foster Grandparent program is looking for Foster Grand Parents in the Franklin County area.
Services:  Foster grandparents are willing to share their experience and wisdom with children who need a little extra attention and love from a grandparent in a public setting. In return the Foster grandparent receives, training, holidays and earned time, a small hourly stipend and the love and admiration of the children they serve.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer as a Foster Grandparent to teach wisdom and experience to children who need a little extra attention and love from a grandparent. This opportunity is for 15 hours a week. The Foster Grandparent receives, training, holidays and earned time, a small hourly stipend and the love and admiration of the children they serve. Founded in 1989, Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is an affiliate of the Franklin Community Health Network with a mission of promoting health and well-being in Franklin County and neighboring towns, including Livermore Falls.

The Franklin Resource Network

The mission of the Franklin Resource Network is to maximize resources in our community, enabling elders, people with disabilities, caregivers, and all residents to easily find information about, and gain access to, services and opportunities to contribute their gifts and talents.

This project is funded, in part, by an Aging and Disability Resource Center grant from the federal Administration on Aging and Center for Medicare and Medicaid services.
