Schools
The Tech Act outlines several services to be provided to individuals with disabilities in order to “increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. (29 U.S.C. Sec 2202(2)” This includes IDEA and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act’s mandate to provide a free and appropriate public education to students with disabilities, in the lease restrictive environment. No student may be exempt from academic or extracurricular activities due to disability. As such, assistive technology must be considered and if appropriate, employed.

Vocational Rehabilitation
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, also known as "VR," is a Department of Labor program that helps people who have disabilities to find and keep a job. VR helps people who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. VR works with you to help make informed choices about jobs and careers.

Businesses
ALLTECH can assist you with supporting your employees with disabilities by providing assessment, consultation, and training. Services include assessment of computer workstations; consultation for those who have learning disabilities and need assistance with reading and/or writing; assessment of tools that can be utilized if a person has acquired repetitive stress injury or have had a stroke and have returned to work.
