| Services: | In 1890, Frank Hutchins and local carpenter Lavella Norton, built a picturesque Victorian residence on High Street in Kingfield. This home was a wedding gift to Frank’s bride, Effie Pearl Winter. In 1944 Effie sold her home to her next door neighbor Alma Wilson. In 1968 Alma donated the Hutchins home to the Kingfield Historical Society and in 1970, the Kingfield Historical Society was opened to the public. The Kingfield Historical House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1968 and is a must see for residents and visitors alike!
