Clients:  Residents of all ages without payment mechanism.
Services:  Assist families and communities to: prevent and control communicable disease outbreaks through screening, immunizations, health education, and obtaining medical care; help children with special health needs maintain their highest level of functioning; obtain services from specialty clinics; obtain care for the sick; support families in stress. Perform services related to: health assessment, health education/teaching, health counseling, health promotion, and disease prevention. Help clients establish healthy lifestyles, promote safe environments, and cope with the death of a child. Provides services for: communicable disease prevention and control; abuse and neglect; Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Childhood Deaths; environmental health; genetic assessment; children with special needs; lead poisoning prevention; maternal and child health; newborns and high risk infants; well child clinics; school health; refugees/migrants; nutrition assessment/counseling; injury prevention and poison control. Services are provided in the home, at a clinic, or in schools.
