Services:  Lawn Chair Pirates is the first and only improvisational comedy troupe at the University of Maine at Farmington. The Lawn Chair Pirates hold shows at UMF’s Latte Landing and, occasionally in Lincoln Auditorium. Membership in Lawn Chair Pirates is determined at the start of each semester when they hold auditions. Currently, there is a membership cap of ten people. The Lawn Chair Pirates also reserve the right to hold two spots open for veteran members to manage, or LCParent, the troupe.

Services:  A group of high-energy ladies hailing from the towns of Livermore, Wilton, Farmington and Skowhegan. Their traditional French Canadian dances will be a treat for the eyes and the ears.

Fees:  Performances by donation.
Hours:  Practices are held Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Cushing School in Wilton. Cloggers interested in joining the group may attend a practice.

Services:  Geology provides learning experiences for it’s members and for the entire student body. It does this by organizing field trips to areas of Geological importance (White Mountains, mineral mines, fossil beds, & Sandy River). Each spring, we are supporters of the May Term course to a vast number of places (Ireland, N.W. Territory, Colorado, & Newfoundland). Geology Club also sponsors speakers to come and give information on related jobs, topics, and trips of Geological importance.

Services:  The purposes of the club are to view anime (Japanese animation) and to contrast the values and morals shown in the films to that of modern Japanese culture and morals. To respect and speak about the artwork of the animation as well as to compare it to other films as there are various genres of anime and thus different styles.
