Limited Access Policy Statement Bosebuck Mountain Camps is located amidst a 250,000 acre wilderness. A major portion of this area is gated by the landowner, prohibiting access by the general public but permitting access by our Guests on a limited/restricted basis. The area of the Upper Magalloway river is crisscrossed with a complex network of active logging roads. Out of our genuine concern for guest safety, new visitors to Bosebuck are strongly advised to secure the services of a Licensed Maine Guide for, at a minimum, the first day of their trip into the Upper River area. The policy north of the gates is "catch and release" As always, the Big and Little Magalloway Rivers below Parmachenee Lake, as well as Aziscohos Lake and the Lower River, are all readily accessible. In these areas, professional guides services are also available if needed.

| Services: | Open year round, we invite you to stay in one of our clean, cozy rustic cabins located along the Carrabassett River. Rent one or rent entire facility for your retreat, reunion, wedding or get-away weekend. Each cabin has a refrigerator, stove, lines and dishes. The shower house is heated and there is a coin-operated laundry facility right on premise. Relax next to the cozy fire with your friends in our "Meeting Place," or wander down to the riverside and enjoy the fantastic view. With four seasons of outdoor activities, there's always something to do in Western Maine's Lakes & Mountains region. During the winter snowmobilers flock to our area as there are miles and miles of groomed trails that continue into Canada. We are 20 minutes from Sugarloaf Ski Resort and an hour from Saddleback Ski Area. Snowshoers have woods, mountains, and lakes to explore. Cross-country skiers can make use of the groomed snowmobile trails, or head to Sugarloaf's nordic ski area.
When the snow melts the kayaks, canoes, mountain bikes and ATVs come out. Wildflowers and wild berries line the trails. Trout streams and ponds are nearby for fishing. The Appalachian Trail can be accessed at several places near our cabins. We are surrounded by beautiful lakes. In the fall the entire Carrabassett Valley comes alive with color. Autumn is a great time for a hike in the Bigelow Preserve or picnic by a waterfall. We are close to three different hunting districts, and many acres of public access woods. Whatever season you decide to join us you are sure to experience the beauty of Western Maine. |

All New Vinyard children can register for free. Registration forms are available at the Strong Town Office and the New Vinyard Town office. Monday July 7, 2008 will be a registration day at the beach. (weather permitting). The instructor can evaluate a child's skills in the water prior to registration. If the weather is inclement, the registration will be held at the Strong Town Office. Classes will begin on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Parents are couraged to register early to ensure a spot for their child at a convenient time. Thursday, July 24, 2008 is the last day of the program. This is Family Fun Day with a party and picnic on the beach. This year, hopefully, a class will be offered that would prepare someone for Life Guard Training if they are serious about perusing a goal in that direction, but are not quite old enough. The Water Safety Instructor Aide class was very popular this past year. It prepares individuals who are interested in becoming an instructor, but are not old enough to take the Instructor Program yet. There is currently not a registration deadline. Guests are allowed to sample the program once or twice for a financial donation to the program for each day they participate. The instructor can be contacted by phone at 778-5713 or call Sandi at The Strong Town Office to register 684-4002. |
