Clients:  Anyone who is interested in learning new information to improve their personal, family, and community life. By being a member of Extension Homemakers, you will have the opportunity to learn with others, make new friends, and contribute to your community, county, and state. You will gain additional leadership skills and be able to share your interests and talents with others.

Extension Homemaker groups are currently located in Clearwater, East Wilton, Farmington, Kingfield, Mount Vernon/Vienna, North Chesterville, Strong, Weld and Wilton.

Services:  Extension Homemaker group members help to extend the resources of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension into their communities through educational opportunities and service projects. Local members in most counties in Maine belong to their local community group, their county group, and the state group, Maine Extension Homemakers Council.

Services:  The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

Maine Mountain Quilters

Services:  The Club is very active in Municipal beautification. Also, several members participate in the planting and maintaining of the Gateway Memorial Garden at the Farmington intersections and the Farmington Fairground beautification program.

All meetings will be held at the Farmington Municipal Building unless otherwise specified.

Phone committee will call one week before meetings.

Hostesses will be responsible for arranging the room for the meeting. Any hostess who is unable to serve is requested to find her own replacement and to contact the hostess chairman.

Dues are $10.00

All regular meetings will begin with a social ½ hour.

The business meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Services:  READI is dedicated to educating the UMF campus and surrounding community about all sexuality and diverse issues. The group meets weekly to plan events for the campus that work towards demystifying the myths that surround everyone’s sexuality and background. This group is a combination of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexuals. We hope to help create a safer, more comfortable environment for all students at UMF. Some of the events include comedians, dances, musicians, residence hall programs, movie nights, TV show nights, pride week, and a drag show! READI also has social nights, where the members of READI will get together outside a meeting and just go out and have fun.
