Clients:  Serving people of all ages in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties.
Services:  Western Maine Transportation Services provides scheduled public transportation throughout Franklin County. Look for the Green Bus.

New schedule effective September 1, 2007.

Monday through Friday: Farmington - Wilton. Fixed-route service connecting Farmington and Wilton between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Daily door to door bus service from Farmington to Wilton.

Tuesday #1: Rangeley - Farmington. Service connecting Rangeley and Farmington; also serves Strong, Phillips, Temple and Wilton on demand. Call for pickup.

Tuesday #2: Kingfield - Farmington. Service connecting Kingfield and Farmington; also serves Carrabassett Valley, Stratton & Eustis on demand. Call for pickup.

Thursday: Jay - Farmington. Service connecting Jay and Farmington; also serves Wilton, Weld, Livermore Falls and Carthage on demand. Call for pickup.

Friday: Farmington - Lewiston/Auburn. Service connecting Farmington, Wilton, Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls and Turner to the Lewiston-Auburn area. Leaving Farmington at 9:00 a.m. arriving in L/A at ll:00 a.m. Returning from L/A at 3:00 p.m., arriving back in Farmington at 5:00 p.m.

Monthy Maine Mall Run: Third Wednesday of every month, the Maine Mall Run leaves the Farmington area at 8:00 a.m., with pickups in Farmington, Wilton, Jay and Livermore. The bus arrives at the maine Mall at 10:00 a.m. The return trip leaves the Maine Mall area at 2:00 p.m. and arrives back in Farmington at 4:00 p.m. Please call ahead to make reservations. Please call the Western Maine Transportation Customer Service Center (800) 393-9335 for more information or to make reservations at least 24 hours in advance.

The Green Bus is handicapped accessible and is open to the public. A 48-hour advance notice is requested. Door to door service is available in many areas.

Fees:  Individuals pay a fare according to a schedule upon boarding the bus: Expenses vary on how far you are going, but are as little as $1.00 for 25 miles for seniors 60 and over, person with disabilities, and children 5 - 11.

Free transportation for MaineCare appointments.

Hours:  Customer Service Center: Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Buses and vans operate Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and beyond, based on special arrangement and availability.

Escorted Volunteer Services are provided seven days a week.

Founded in 1989, Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is an affiliate of the Franklin Community Health Network with a mission of promoting health and well-being in Franklin County and neighboring towns, including Livermore Falls.

The Franklin Resource Network

The mission of the Franklin Resource Network is to maximize resources in our community, enabling elders, people with disabilities, caregivers, and all residents to easily find information about, and gain access to, services and opportunities to contribute their gifts and talents.

This project is funded, in part, by an Aging and Disability Resource Center grant from the federal Administration on Aging and Center for Medicare and Medicaid services.
