Clients:  Residents in Franklin County and Livermore Falls area.
Services:  The Franklin County Children's Task Force (FCCTF) is a non-profit organization committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through promotion of healthy child, family and community development. FCCTF offers the following programs to families in Franklin County and Livermore Falls.

Bullying/Teasing Prevention Program: Staff work with local district elementary and middle schools helping facilitate a nonviolent learning atmosphere.

Parent Infant 'Coffee Klatches': FCCTF is pleased to announce an opportunity for new parents and their infants to meet each other and possibly create their own ongoing support structures. There is more ‘Coffee Klatch’ in 2008 for parents of infants. Coffee, tea, juice, fruit and bagels will be provided along with time to chat about the reality of being a parent. There will be developmental appropriate activities and information about infants available. The ‘Coffee Klatch’ will be held at the Franklin County Children’s Task Force office on 113 Church St Farmington from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Oct 22, 2008 for parents - prenatal and babies ages birth to 6 months

Wild and Wonderful Story time and Playgroup: We are hosting a Storytime and Playgroup designed to let parents just play and read with their children. It will be held at the FCCTF building at 113 Church Street, Farmington, and will be on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Contact us at 778-6960 or 1-888-429-6960 for more information or to sign up.

Parent Education: FCCTF is happy to announce its new schedule. Nurturing Program September 8th (6 weeks) Mondays, 5:30-7:30 pm at Trinity Church

Surviving your Adolescents 10-15 year olds October 8,15,22, Wednesdays, 11:30-1:00 at FCCTF

Bag Lunch

1,2,3 Magic 2-12 years old November 10,17,24, Mondays, 5:30-7:30 at FCCTF - Childcare provided

Growing Healthy Families: A partnership with Franklin Community Health Network designed especially to support first-time parents of children from birth to age five.

Parent Talk Line: 778-6960 locally or toll free 1-888- 429-6960, parents are encouraged to call.

Parent Resource Library: Parenting information in the form of books, videos, pamphlets, and other written material for parents and professionals.

Kids First Program:

Kids First is a four-hour workshop designed for parents (only) to help address concerns and promote reduction of the negative effects of divorce. Participants are encouraged to attend the program as early in the separation or divorce process as possible.

Special Events: Children’s festival, Father/Daughter Dance, Make Tracks for Kids fundraiser.

Fees:  Most programs no charge.

Parent Education Classes: $30 fee, Registration required.

Kids First Program: $45 per person, Registration required.

Hours:  Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Friday 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Healthy Community Coalition

Founded in 1989, Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is an affiliate of the Franklin Community Health Network with a mission of promoting health and well-being in Franklin County and neighboring towns, including Livermore Falls.

The Franklin Resource Network

The mission of the Franklin Resource Network is to maximize resources in our community, enabling elders, people with disabilities, caregivers, and all residents to easily find information about, and gain access to, services and opportunities to contribute their gifts and talents.

This project is funded, in part, by an Aging and Disability Resource Center grant from the federal Administration on Aging and Center for Medicare and Medicaid services.
