| Services: | Want to save money on prescription drugs? The Medicare-approved Drug Discount Card program may help you (you must have Medicare to apply). Do you pay full price for any of your prescriptions? You could save money, no matter what your income. Are you low income? ($12,569 or less for a single person; $16,862 for a couple) You could get a $600 benefit for 2005. You can investigate how the program will benefit you before you sign up. Call SeniorsPlus in Wilton (645-3315 or toll-free at 1-888-234-3921) for an appointment with a trained Medicare Specialist who will lead you through the process. You will need to bring information about your income (to see if you qualify for the $600 benefit); a list of all the prescriptions you currently take, the dosages, and how much you are currently paying; and the name of the pharmacy where you would like to do your business. If you would like, at the same time you can ask SeniorsPlus for a "benefits check-up" to see if there are other programs that can help you. |
