Christian Performing Arts Camp

Clients:  The camp is open to all area youth entering 6th grade through the 12th grade.
Services:  The Church of the Good Shepherd will host a Christian Performing Arts camp this summer. The camp will have hands on activities in music, dance and theater and will perform at the end of the summer. Youth will be learning Christian Rock, Christian rap, liturgical dance, clowning, drama workshops, improvisations, doo-wop vocals, and other offerings. All activities will be hands on and to a large student-directed, getting kids on their feet and participating on whatever level they are comfortable with. All levels of expertise will be accommodated. After an introduction to each area students will choose three activities. Everyone will be involved with the final performance as technical support and performers. Campers will meet in the basement of the Church at the Good Shepherd on Main Street. Regular attendance is preferred but not required.
Hours:  The camp will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays and will run from June 21-August 16, 2006.
