| Services: | Hiking and biking on the Carey Road or nearby trails, canoeing and kayaking to sandy beaches for swimming, and fly fishing on Rapid River or the Richardson Lakes for brook trout, lake trout and landlocked salmon.
Lakewood Camps is located on the shores of Lower Richardson Lake and adjacent to the headwaters of Rapid River at Middledam, Maine, in the Rangeley Lakes Region of Western Maine.
Directions: Leave Maine Turnpike at Exit 11 (Gray) and travel north on Route 26 through Poland Springs, Norway and South Paris. At Bryant Pond, take Route 232 to Rumford Point. Bear left onto Route 2 and travel on-half mile to the junction of Route 5. Turn north (right) on Route 5 to Andover. Follow the signs for South Arm. Telephone from Andover and our boat will be waiting at our private dock at South Arm to ferry you to the five miles to Middledam and Lakewood Camps. From the West and either of new Hampshire's main arteries, Interstate 93 or Route 16, follow Route 2 from Gorham to nearby Bethel, Maine. Travel east along Route 2 to the junction of Route 5 which will take you north to Andover and South Arm |

General Information: We cannot accept credit cards. Payment must be check or cash. Rate includes lake front cabin, 3 delicious homestyle meals daily, chambermaid service, roundtrip transportation by boat from South Arm to Lakewood Camps, use of canoes, kayaks and safety equipment. MAY, JUNE, SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER last nights deposit is required for each guest at the time of reservation. Deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to a future trip with adequate notification to the management. Once confirmation of total number in party and total number of days is made, along with deposit, final payment will be based upon original number in party and number of days unless management is notified 30 days prior to reservation, no exceptions. If reservation is not received by due date stated, reservation will be cancelled. No adjustments or refunds on early departures, late arrivals or missed meals. JULY&AUGUST 50% deposit is required for each guest at the time of reservation. Deposit is non-refundable unless management is notified no later than 30 days AFTER reservation is made but can be applied to a future trip with adequate notification to management. Once confirmation of total number in party and total number of days is made, along with deposit, final payment will be based upon original number in party and number of days unless management is notified no later than 30 days AFTER reservation is made, no exceptions.
