Terry Owens, a Maine licensed massage therapist and member of the American Massage Therapy Association, has been a practicing massage therapist for over 21 years. She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and the Jacksonville School of Massage in Jacksonville Florida. Terry received trainings through the Upledger Institute in Palm Beach Florida where she focused on cranio-sacral therapy and somato emotional release. She also trained in zero balancing at the Zero Balancing Association. Terry has been educated in aroma therapy, hypnotherapy and Safe Touch for Survivors of Sexual Abuse. She has been a Reiki Master for nearly 15 years.

Terry taught massage classes at both the University of Maine in Farmington and for Adult Ed programs at various local high schools. She also teaches at her home practice, Spirit Garden Therapeutics. She lectures at local functions and has been a presenter at the Maine Wellness Conference.

Terry worked as a massage therapist at the Jacksonville School of Massage and Health Clinic and at the Sugar Tree Health Club at Sugarloaf Mountain Ski Resort. Her past work experience includes prenatal and infant care, elder support, hospice comfort, elementary teaching and the education of developmentally disabled adults.

Terry maintains a private practice in Farmington where she utilizes her vast experience and education by tailoring private sessions which are personally suited for each client's individual needs. This in turn promotes well being on all levels.
