Selah Therapeutic Massage Clinic

Beverly Richards has lived in East Jay for thirty years with her husband, Freddie. They designed and built their own home, and raised three children while being actively involved in their community. She has worked as a Registered Nurse since 1974 and received her BS in Community Health Education and Teaching in 1992.

Realizing the importance of massage therapy in self-care, she became a Licensed Massage Therapist, and opened SELAH: Therapeutic Massage Clinic in October of 2006. She belongs to the American Massage Therapy Association and is an active member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, the JLLF Chamber of Commerce and the Jay- Livermore Falls Rotary Club.

Each initial visit at SELAH Therapeutic Massage Clinic starts with a health history and a postural/gait evaluation to develop a plan to help the client achieve the best benefit from their massage treatments. Beverly uses unscented massage oils and creams with organic ingredients such as almond oil in a grape seed oil base. Established research has proven that the therapeutic effect of massage is a valuable component of a holistic approach to wellness.

Appointments are scheduled at the convenience of the client in thirty to ninety minute time frames.
