| Services: | The Franklin County Children's Task Force (FCCTF) is a non-profit organization committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through promotion of healthy child, family and community development. FCCTF offers the following programs to families in Franklin County and Livermore Falls.
Bullying/Teasing Prevention Program: Staff work with local district elementary and middle schools helping facilitate a nonviolent learning atmosphere. Parent Education: FCCTF is happy to announce its new schedule. Nurturing Program September 8th (6 weeks) Mondays, 5:30-7:30 pm at Trinity Church Surviving your Adolescents 10-15 year olds October 8,15,22, Wednesdays, 11:30-1:00 at FCCTF Bag Lunch 1,2,3 Magic 2-12 years old November 10,17,24, Mondays, 5:30-7:30 at FCCTF - Childcare provided 1,2,3 Magic 2-12 years old December 6, Saturday, 8:00am-1:00pm at FCCTF - Childcare and Lunch provided. Growing Healthy Families: A partnership with Franklin Community Health Network designed especially to support first-time parents of children from birth to age five. Parent Talk Line: 778-6960 locally or toll free 1-888- 429-6960, parents are encouraged to call. Parent Resource Library: Parenting information in the form of books, videos, pamphlets, and other written material for parents and professionals. Kids First Program: Kids First is a four-hour workshop designed for parents (only) to help address concerns and promote reduction of the negative effects of divorce. Participants are encouraged to attend the program as early in the separation or divorce process as possible. Special Events: Children’s festival, Father/Daughter Dance, Make Tracks for Kids fundraiser. |
