Services:  The Pierce House is a locally operated licensed home for older people that contributes to the cost of care for each resident and provides assistance with activities of daily living and the management of health care needs in an environment that fosters privacy, independence, and dignity. Services provided include:

. Sixteen private rooms, fully furnished, with full private baths.

. Personal belongings can be accommodated. Additional storage space is available.

. An emergency call bell system provides peace of mind.

. A Registered Nurse consultant is available.

. Residential Care Staff are trained Certified Nursing Assistants or Personal Support Specialists.

. Medications are administered by Certified Residential Medication Aides.

. Personal assistance with dressing, toileting, and bathing is provided 24 hours a day.

. Cable television, wireless Internet, and private telephone connections are provided.

. Three home-cooked meals and nutritious snacks are served daily. Special diets accommodaton.

. Transportation and accompaniment of residents to local shopping, special activities, and appointments.

Fees:  Rates.

First floor: $3,600 *

Second floor: $3,200

Second floor with shared shower: $3,000

Second floor, two-room suite: $3,700

*Rates are per month, plus a 5% Service Provider Fee.

The Pierce House participates in a MaineCare Cost Reimbursed Program, and has some Cost Reimbursed rooms. Eligibility is determined by Maine Department of Health and Human Services (Maine DHHS):

The Franklin Resource Network

The mission of the Franklin Resource Network is to maximize resources in our community, enabling elders, people with disabilities, caregivers, and all residents to easily find information about, and gain access to, services and opportunities to contribute their gifts and talents.
